Stop hitting balls.
Start training.
DYALR started because Giulio, a former touring pro, couldn't figure out how to organize his own practice. He kept spreadsheets for years. Eventually those spreadsheets became software. It's not more complicated than that.
The Driving Range Dilemma
The core problem DYALR solves
As a player, I never actually 'knew' how to organize my practice. I wanted something to structure my time, act as my diary, and allow me to track the exact way I trained.

From tour player to coach to building DYALR

The Player
Giulio grew up in Pordenone, in the northeast of Italy, and played college golf at TCU in Texas. After graduating he turned pro and spent four years on the Alps Tour and Challenge Tour, including a win in the 2020 Campionato Nazionale Open.
But he never really figured out how to practice properly. He'd spend hours on the range without any real plan — just hitting balls and hoping something would click. No diary, no structure, no way to tell if he was actually improving. By 2022 he was burned out and honestly hated the game.

The Coach
When he stopped playing, Giulio went through the Scuola Nazionale di Golf to become a certified PGA professional. He's now part of TPG Golf — a performance coaching academy based out of Cimarrone Golf Club in Jacksonville, Florida, that works with players from juniors all the way to professional golfers — as both a coach and brand ambassador.
Coaching other people made one thing painfully obvious: the problem he had as a player wasn't unique. From beginners to tour pros, almost nobody had a real system for allocating their practice time. They'd show up to the range and hit balls until they felt tired. That's not training.

The App
DYALR started as a spreadsheet Giulio used with his students. He'd map out their week — what to work on, for how long, in what order — based on their skill level and available time. It worked, but it didn't scale.
So he built software to do it. You tell it your Skill Level, Time Availability, Equipment Access, and Training Focus, and it generates a structured weekly plan mixing technique sessions and performance drills from 120 performance drills across 5 difficulty levels. It's the practice diary he wished he had as a player.
Alessandra Fanali
Co-Developer & Ambassador · Paris 2024 Olympian
Alessandra is Giulio's partner and a professional golfer on the Ladies European Tour. She grew up in Fiuggi, Italy, competed for Arizona State University as an All-American, and earned her full LET card through Q-School in 2022.
Giulio caddies for her full-time and assists her on tour. She's the one who pushed him to turn his spreadsheets into an actual app — because when you're preparing for tournaments every week, you can't afford to wing your practice. She represented Italy at the Paris 2024 Olympics at Le Golf National.

How She Uses It
Built into her weekly tour routine
- ●Her weekly practice schedule is planned around tournament days, travel, and available facilities.
- ●The app balances what she needs to maintain with what she needs to improve — she doesn't decide, it does.
- ●Every session is logged, so she can look back and see exactly how she trained during her best weeks.
"I don't have to think about what to practice anymore. I just open the app, see my plan, and go. That's one less thing to worry about during tournament weeks."
Why DYALR is Different
The gulf between knowing your stats and changing your game
The gulf between knowing your stats and actually changing your game is where most players get lost. We built the bridge.
The Prescriptive Shift
The modern golf technology ecosystem—from IoT club sensors to statistical course management systems—is brilliantly effective at retrospective diagnosis. They tell you exactly what you did wrong yesterday and identify your mathematical weaknesses.
But knowing you lose 1.2 strokes on approach shots from 150 yards doesn't tell you what to do on the driving range for the next 45 minutes. DYALR is a prescriptive architecture. It translates diagnostic data into a bespoke, time-bound, forward-looking itinerary. We eliminate the cognitive friction of deciding what to practice.
The Science of Sub-Par
The single greatest trap in golf practice is the illusion of competence born from "Blocked Practice." Hitting fifty 7-irons from a perfectly flat lie forces your brain into autopilot, creating artificial confidence that instantly vanishes on the course.
DYALR's engine is fundamentally grounded in motor learning science. By rigidly alternating between Technique Sessions and high-pressure Performance Drills, the platform enforces "Random Practice." It constantly shifts your targets, clubs, and constraints, inducing the necessary cognitive struggle required for deep, permanent skill retention.
The Complete Training System
DYALR isn't a single feature — it's a full-cycle training architecture. A 5-stage genetic algorithm pipeline generates optimized weekly plans from 120 performance drills across 4 macro areas and 12 micro skills, calibrated for 5 skill levels from Tour professionals to beginners.
Every drill is scored, tracked, and fed into 13 analytics cards — from the Skill Radar and Efficiency Matrix in Core, to EWMA-powered Momentum tracking and Skill Correlations in Pro Intelligence. It's the complete loop: plan, execute, analyze, improve.

"We built this because we needed it ourselves. Turns out, so do a lot of other golfers."
